Job Description:
Minnesota Epilepsy Group, PA has an immediate opening for a full/part-time child/adolescent therapist. We are a multidisciplinary clinic serving patients with epilepsy, and related co-morbid diagnoses including brain tumors, genetic and developmental disorders, and functional neurologic conditions. Common psychological comorbidities in our patient population include depression, anxiety, ADHD, adjustment disorders, and behavior problems. The successful candidate will provide assessment and treatment services to children and their families in our outpatient clinic as well as join a team of collegial pediatric neurologists/epileptologists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, and social workers. Job duties primarily include outpatient therapy with children, adolescents, and their families. There will also be potential involvement providing inpatient psychological consultation services on our Epilepsy Monitoring Unit located at Children’s Minnesota and with our multidisciplinary care clinics including New Onset Pediatric Epilepsy (NOPE) and the Transition Age Program (TAP).

We are seeking candidates with a clinical concentration and experience in child/adolescent treatment and assessment. Experience working with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, ADHD) is highly desirable. Candidates should have a desire to learn more about neurological conditions relevant to our patient population, including functional neurological disorder, through informal supervision with our psychology team, shadowing opportunities, and continuing education programing. This position requires a master’s degree in counseling psychology, marriage/family therapy, or social work from an accredited program and license with the appropriate state of Minnesota licensing board. Willingness to obtain Wisconsin license is also preferred. Salary is competitive, with full benefits provided. Fixed Salary not based on production and exempt from overtime. Flexibility in scheduling within a typical Monday-Friday schedule.
