Job Description

 
1 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 03/29/2024- 11/04/24. Work may include, but not limited to: plant, cultivate and harvest various crops such as, but not limited to, vegetables, fruits, horticultural specialties and field crops. Use hand tools such as, but not limited to, shovels, hoes, pruning shears, knives, and ladders. Duties may include, but not limited to, tilling the soil, applying fertilizer, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning, applying general use pesticides under the supervision of a licensed applicator, picking, cutting, cleaning, sorting, packing, processing and handling harvested products. May set up, operate and repair farm machines, repair fences and farm buildings, also may participate in irrigation activities. Work is usually performed outdoors, some times in hot or cold temperatures, and/ or wet conditions. Work requires workers to bend, stoop, lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis. Requirements: * One month experience of the duties mentioned * Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. * Exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing/pulling and frequent stooping. * Extensive walking, sitting and repetitive movements.
