Genesis10 is seeking a SAP Business System Analyst for a direct placement with our client in Minneapolis. Ability to work remotely on Monday and Friday.
Job Description: The Principal IT Business System Analyst is responsible for providing application services and support to the global organization in the SAP Production Planning space. As a member of the IT Team, in this role, you'll primarily support business areas such as Production Planning, Materials Management, Quality Management, and 3rd party solutions augmenting and expanding SAP capabilities. This role allows working with business users gathering requirements, defining solutions, testing, implementing, and supporting them along the way. You will also be participating in the organizational transformation journey with S4 HANA Implementation.
Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain core Planning processes such as materials requirement planning (MRP) and hierarchical bill of materials (BOM) Responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements into business requirement documents, user stories, and functional specifications. Responsible for creating detailed specifications and process flows to provide direction to application developers Responsible for developing functional, integration, regression, and test plans Responsible for analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing business processes and business requests, and recommending solutions using system standards and best practices Support, assist, and train the users on new modified system configurations highlighting the impact on business processes Work closely with Managers, Executives, Onsite team, and Offshore team to ensure the release of high-quality solutions Comply with regulatory and change control requirements and processes Maintain IT Business system integrity and application notes, system upgrades, changes, and user updates
