Job Description Summary

As a Full-Stack Engineer at GEHC, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining AI software applications. You will work with a team of AI scientists and engineers to commercialize cutting-edge health AI technology and help advance the future of health AI. You will be integrated with an AI team and provide a complementary full-stack-oriented technical skillset, allowing teams to iterate quickly and effectively in complex domains.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team of AI Engineers and AI Scientists to develop and deliver high-quality AI software applications.
  • Front-End Development: Develop fully functional prototype web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Back-End Development: Design and develop server-side applications and APIs to interface with databases and AI models.
  • Database Management: Architect, optimize, and maintain databases to power both client and server-side components.
  • Integration: Ensure smooth and scalable interactions between front-end and back-end components.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and troubleshoot issues to ensure software quality and reliability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in full stack development with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Basic competency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and front-end frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in full stack development with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.
  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Experience with Docker, container orchestration systems (e.g., ECS, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with version control systems.
  • Experience related to cloud-based AI solutions is highly preferred.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.
  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in the greater Seattle Area.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $156,400.00-$234,600.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
