Job Summary
Job Description Join RBC Wealth Management, a 2021 Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal "Top Place to Work", and shape RBC's future! As an Operations Specialist I with the Alternative Investments team, you will be the dedicated resource for our field and Product partners. Using your extraordinary critical thinking skills and high attention to detail, you will provide analysis, processing, and customer service support for manual, exception-based, and highly specialized processes for the alternative investment product platform at RBC. Act as a primary point of contact for firms and Financial Advisors for RBC's sponsored Alternative Investments
Process fund subscriptions and redemptions
Process transfers to and from other Broker Dealers
Execution of capital calls for Private Equity Funds on RBC's sponsored platform
Reconcile RBC's books and records with fund companies
Reduce risk or increase efficiencies by suggesting process changes and system modifications What do you need to succeed? Must-have
4-year degree from an accredited university (or equivalent) OR High school diploma (or equivalent) AND 3 years of job-related experience.
Demonstrated problem identification, analytical and resolution skills required to support escalated issue resolution and/or oversight requirements associated with exception-based complex processes.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment with a high attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
Proficient computer skills in Windows-based software products including Word, Excel and Outlook. Nice-to-have
4-year degree from an accredited university in business, finance or related field.
3+ years business, finance, customer service and/or accounting/bookkeeping experience.
Previous experience in the securities or banking industry preferred.
Ability to integrate Excel and Access databases into daily work. What's in it for you?
