Required Skills:
Directing supervised positions; being polite and courteous to callers and visitors; communicating, both verbally and in writing with clarity and understanding; using training & experience to solve problems and make decisions commensurate to position’s authority; preparing draft documents from author’s input, actual examples and relevant samples; keyboarding and entering alpha-numerical data with accuracy; editing written material from draft to final form; maintaining and retrieving complete and accurate computer and physical records; performing basic research; performing mathematical calculations with accuracy; using information technologies to increase work productivity.

Job Description:
Assist the Clerk-Treasurer in general administration and city-wide functions and programs related to governmental finance, bookkeeping, and reporting; other administration duties as may be assigned; Primarily responsible for water billings and collections; records retention management; customer service and clerical work; assisting with zoning requests and maintaining zoning records. Serves as needed for routine clerical accounting tasks. Serves as acting clerk-treasurer when necessary and performs other specific duties of those statutory offices as delegated/deputized by the Clerk-Treasurer.
