Position Description:

NTS is seeking a Seasonal or Intern Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our team! This is a temporary position beginning in May. Primary accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

• Collect samples from various construction and mining sites;
• Perform detailed record keeping of site and sample information;
• Conduct compaction tests for soil density, including safe handling of the nuclear device;
• Conduct field concrete tests, including temperature, air content, slump, and cylinder creation;
• Create appropriate reports on the computer;
• Maintain all equipment used in the field; and
• Follow all NTS safety rules and regulations and maintain a professional demeanor as a steward of the company.
