Job Description:
The Analyst - Investment Performance Reporting role will lead and manage projects and initiatives related to Advice & Wealth Management (AWM) performance reporting, including research, driving business requirements, and analytical reporting support for initiatives related to the investment performance reporting capabilities. This role will aid in developing and maintaining the infrastructure required to support ongoing performance reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities

* In collaboration with other business units (e.g. products, technology, legal, compliance, marketing, field implementation, etc.) and vendors, participate in the execution of projects aimed at enhancing the quality of the performance data and improving the front-end reporting experience for advisors and clients.
* Troubleshoot and correct inaccurate data in a timely manner.
* Maintain control-related testing across the various performance tools to ensure a single, cohesive approach to testing/audit protocols of reporting mechanisms and underlying data.
* Participate in the development of new and execution of existing department policies and procedures.
* Create training materials, and assist with training all parties that use performance data.
* In collaboration with other business units, participate in the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) compliance verification for the composites of third party products on the Advisory Platform.
* Participate in the compilation of the monthly/quarterly performance data for the products on the Advisory Platform.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Accounting or other quantitative discipline
* 3+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry
* Reporting and analysis experience in a financial services organization (wealth management preferred).
* Knowledge in investment concepts, practices, procedures, management operations and tools.
* Conceptual and practical understanding of the various performance metrics, such as different money-weighted and time-weighted return methodologies, risk analytics, benchmarking, and asset allocation
* Understanding of inner-working of the transactional data that comprises metrics such as deposits, withdrawals, net contribution, investment income
* Strong communications skills, both oral and written, to interact with team and business partners
* Demonstrated experience in problem solving
* Organized, detail-oriented and extremely thorough
* Ability to work well under pressure or juggle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment


Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with performance measurement and portfolio accounting systems (e.g., Pershing X (fka Albridge), First Rate, Tegra118 (aka APL), Informa, Broadridge, Envestnet, Morningstar, FactSet)
* CIPM and/or CFA designation, or progress towards.
* Understanding of GIPS and ability to apply the standards to performance calculations and representations.
* Knowledge of practices and procedures of retail-oriented investment products and financial planning
