Job Description
The Russ College of Engineering & Technology’s School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Ohio University is currently accepting applications for part-time adjunct instructors to teach graduate/undergraduate level courses in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Applications to this pool posting will be utilized to fill part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible instructor positions for Electrical/Computer Engineering courses. Applications will be accepted into the pool on an ongoing basis. Requires at least MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Responsibilities include:

Candidates must have knowledge of digital signal processing, autonomous systems, electronic navigation, information theory, digital systems, communications, micro- and nano systems. Exceptional candidates who have proven track record in teaching and research in electrical or computer engineering topics mentioned above are encouraged to apply as part-time instructors for our Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) online program. Responsibilities include preparing the curriculum, tracking attendance, assigning homework and laboratory work, grading assignments, providing feedback, and communicating effectively with the students at all levels. Other tasks include holding office hours, ensuring that class materials are up to date, reviewing curriculum and demonstrating professionalism in dealing with others.



Minimum Qualifications
Requires at least MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
