Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: $28-$33/hr (based on experience)



The Opportunity:

Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems including PLCs.


Responsibilities include:


  • Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems
  • Work on motors, and conveyors, AC/DC, PLC troubleshooting
  • Will work with steam and boiler controls and mechanical power drives
  • Perform predictive and preventative maintenance activities
  • Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Complete Timely and accurate paperwork 

What you need to succeed:


  • Strong Electrical and Mechanical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with Troubleshooting in a Production/Manufacturing Environment
  • An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems
  • Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives
  • Able to install and troubleshoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits
  • Knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches
  • A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability preferred
  • Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner
  • Ability to work weekends & overtime
  • Basic mathematical skills and basic technology/computer skills
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Military training and/or Technical School preferred
  • Corrugated background is a plus, but not required
