Job Purpose:

 

Provides guests with transportation service, enters data into CVPS system, and monitors team member shuttle routes.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)

  1. Provides guests with transportation service by answering incoming calls, greeting callers in a friendly and courteous manner, coordinating Valet and Bell services based on guest requests, providing information regarding shuttle routes, scheduling airport pick-ups and drop offs and guest event transportation, coordinating off-site guest transportation needs with appropriate personnel, setting calendar reminders, and notifying the Transportation Shift Manager of guest concerns and complaints. - 50%
  2. Monitors shuttle routes by riding assigned busses, monitoring and ensuring passenger safety during transport, collecting information from team members and guests according to established procedures, assisting guests with club card related inquiries, and assisting guests on and off the bus. - 20%
  3. Promotes guest relations by treating guests in a friendly and courteous manner, promptly greeting guests with a smile, thanking guests upon departure, answering general inquiries regarding valet and casino services, and notifying Transportation Shift Manager of any guest complaints. - 20%
  4. Provides guests with valet parking service by collecting keys from guest, giving guest identification receipt, placing matching identification tag on key and vehicle, delivering key and tag to valet attendant, following established procedures, and entering guests information into Computerized Valet Parking System. - 10%

Job Specifications:

Education and Experience:

Essential:

  • 6 months guest service experience

Desirable:

  • Data entry experience
  • Valet experience

Skills and Knowledge:

Essential:

 

  • Ability to interact effectively with team members and guests
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
  • Ability to complete forms and documents
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions
  • Ability to perform data entry
  • Ability to accept constructive criticism
  • Ability to appear for work on time
  • Ability to sit or stand for up to eight hours at a time in all weather conditions
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Desirable:

  • Working knowledge of Computerized Valet Parking System software
  • Multi-lingual
