Aerotek 2nd Shift MIG Welding - HIRING IMMEDIATELY in Maple Grove, Minnesota
We are seeking skilled and experienced MIG Welders to join our team for the 2nd shift. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding mild steel materials ranging from 11-gauge to 1/4" thickness. Your primary duties will include tacking welds, following blueprints, and grinding out welds as necessary. This position offers a mix of production and short-run welding, with job assignments based on individual skill sets. Entry-level candidates will primarily focus on production welding, while experienced welders will have the opportunity to engage in more short-run projects.

Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on mild steel materials according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate weld placements
Tack welds to secure components in position
Conduct grinding to remove any imperfections or excess weld material
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Meet production goals and quality standards
Requirements:
Proven experience as a MIG Welder
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Proficient in tacking welds and conducting fabrication operations
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in weld placement
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical stamina to perform welding tasks for extended periods
Compensation:
Starting pay of $24 to $25 per hour for Technical Graduates
Experienced welders can earn up to $30 per hour
