Job Description: |
Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Grand Meadow, St. Charles, and Claremont, MN. From: 03/15/2024 to 12/15/2024. Work: 60 hrs./week, Mon.- Sat. 10 hrs./day Overtime will be paid at the rate of 1.5 the regular rate of pay for all hours worked over 40 hours in a work week. Bonus may be offered to any seasonal worker employed pursuant to this job order, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure.

JOB DUTIES: Operating large farm equipment and machinery equipped with GPS. Load agricultural products into trucks or trailers. Perform safety inspections and maintenance on equipment and machinery. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. The nature of farm work may require workers to work after dark and possibly weekends depending on weather conditions. Hours offered may vary based on factors such as weather or other unpredictable variables that impact the farms' operation. Employer may pay workers more depending on how many years of experience they have obtained by working for the employer or other factors such as job performance, skill, punctuality.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain driver's license and obtain clean driving record to drive trucks. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. No HS Diploma/GED required. Exposure to extreme temperatures, pushing, pulling and repetitive movements.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
