Hillcrest Garden Center is Dover’s full-service garden center, providing landscaping design & installation services at an affordable price and a gift shop, featuring quality products

and the largest Christmas Shop in the area.

Job Description: Will provide assistance, information on the features of the plant products and knowledge regarding the item to sell to the customers according to their assessed needs. Will ask questions to recommend products & solve issues for customers. Will perform cashier duties.  Will maintain the in-stock condition of areas assigned by manager. Will ensure the customer satisfaction and drive sales. Will describe and teach customer about the fertilizers & pest control chemicals, seeds, and different plants. Will explain various landscape techniques to the customers. Ensure the cleanliness of the assigned areas.

Details: Both full-time & part-time hours available. Hours will range from 40-60 hours per week, Monday thru Saturday; 1st Shift.  Wage is $11 to $16 per hour, based on experience, skills & abilities.  No benefits

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old, have a HS diploma/equivalent have a minimum of 1-year related retail experience including plant knowledge, possess a valid driver’s license & be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.  Must have excellent customer service, communication & organizational skills.  Must be willing to work overtime.
