Job Description:
Are you ready to kickstart your career as a CAD Designer/Drafter? Our client, a prominent industry leader, is eager to expand their team and invites you to join them on a full-time, direct hire basis.

Position: CAD Designer/Drafter
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Type: Full-time Direct Hire
Hours: Flexible Schedule for the right candidate
Pay: Up to $35/hr. based on experience

Job Summary:
As a CAD Designer / Drafter, you will play a key role in bringing our clients' visions to life through detailed design work. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with a passion for CAD design and a background in manufacturing. If you have experience with SolidWorks and Draft Site software and are eager to contribute to exciting projects, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
- Utilize SolidWorks to create precise models of
mechanical components and assemblies.
- Develop and enhance designs for tools, dies, and
additional manufacturing supports.
-Responsible for the nesting of parts.
-Ensure designs meet industry standards, client
requirements, and internal quality standards.
- Assist in site planning and layout design using Draft
Site software.
- Participate in design reviews and provide valuable
feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain organized files and documentation to
facilitate efficient project management.

Education/Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, DraftSite, or SolidWorks
software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and
materials.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design
work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
environment.
