Job Highlights

Mixing and testing products designed by Application Technology team
Maintain equipment and software in the lab is in good working order and recommend implementing improvements as appropriate to maintaining standards of accuracy and reliability
Maintain safe, productive, and environmentally acceptable working conditions in the laboratory area and adhere to all plant and laboratory safety rules, policies, and standard operating procedures.
Supportand participatein various training programs
Createand maintainISO documents for Application Technology Laboratory under supervision
Summarizelab results
Assist in trouble shooting product issues
Reports directly to Head of Applications - Americas

Requirements

A minimum of a BS Chemistry\Chemical Engineer
1 to 3yearsof previous experiencedesired
Polymer Compounding\Mixing experience an asset
Familiar and experienced with weighing, mixing and testing equipment related to the polymer industry
Need to be a "hands on person"
Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills
Organizational skills desired
Report and interpret experimental results undersupervision
Ability to workindependently
Outside Customer interactions under supervision
Strong communication skills; both orally and written
Knowledge of Six Sigma and ISO 9001 is desired
Knowledge of instrumentation software and IT
