Job Title: Spot Welder

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Spot Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of spot welding tasks on a range of metal products, including sheet metal, tubing, and wire. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain spot welding equipment and tools to produce high-quality welded parts.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.

• Set up and prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, trimming, and shaping parts.

• Position and secure parts in jigs, fixtures, and clamps.

• Spot weld parts according to established procedures, using appropriate welding techniques and settings.

• Inspect welded parts for accuracy, completeness, and overall quality.

• Make necessary adjustments and repairs to welding equipment and tools.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in spot welding.

• Proficient in the use of welding equipment and tools.

• Knowledge of welding techniques and processes.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
