Job Description Summary

GE Aerospace is seeking qualified Pilot in Command candidates for a HA-420 aircraft, Part 91 operation based in Cincinnati, OH (LUK). Our team currently operates two HA-420 aircraft in accordance with FAA and International regulatory requirements and company standard operating procedures. Each pilot averages between 250-300 hours per year of flight time. Most flying is conducted Monday-Friday with very infrequent weekend or overnight travel. We fly primarily domestically and on occasion to Canada/Mexico. Safety promotion and culture is the central focal point of our operation. Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for safety & welfare of all GE Aerospace passengers.

  • Responsible for conducting flights in a safe, professional manner in accordance with the policies and procedures of GE Aerospace and Federal Aviation Regulations.

  • Review maintenance status of aircraft and coordinate with maintenance personnel.

  • Complete trip and flight planning while coordinating with dispatchers/crew.

  • Review weather and functional requirements for each flight

  • Communicate with passengers in a professional manner to ensure safety and comfort.

  • Work with all Flight Operations Team members in a crew concept.

  • Acts with humility, leads with transparency, and delivers with focus.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in aviation industry

  • Must hold an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate

  • Must currently hold FAA First Class Medical Certificate

  • Must live within 2 hours of Lunken Airport or be willing to relocate.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Familiarity with SMS concepts and software

  • 4,000 hours total time

  • 2,000 hours PIC turbine

  • 250 hours in type (HA420)

  • HA420 Type Rating

  • Flight times and Type Rating are preferred, candidates who do not meet these characteristics will still be considered based upon a pilot history form review.
