Overview

Classification: Temporary, Full-Time, Non-Exempt,  30-35 hours/week, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday beginning on May 23, 2024, and ending August 7, 2024.

 

Salary:           $15.00 per hour

 

Job Focus:  This position provides assistance and support to the after school/summer tutorial program at our learning center on Karl Rd or W. Mound St.  Assistance includes scheduling activities, academic instruction, promote and supervise activities and  maintain a safe, healthy, and emotionally stable environment for participants.

 

Qualifications

  • An understanding willingness to uphold The Salvation Army’s Mission
  • Interest in or pursuing a degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology or Child Development, preferred or we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Current certification in CPR/first aid, communicable diseases, and child abuse prevention and recognition, preferred, or we will work with you to obtain.
  • Ability to maintain ODJFS standards for employees and program operation, we will train.
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards (if driving is a requirement)
