Plan, design, develop, qualify, validate, and stabilize component development process solutions for New Product Development (NPD) projects. Apply engineering principles, world-class manufacturing techniques, statistics, and judgement to resolve complex technical challenges, establish new methods, controls, and procedures. Coordinate activities of a team of component development engineers to deliver business results and develop technical and leadership talent. Provide recommendations to NPD teams on Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Cost. Drive innovative product and process development that meets business commitments and stabilization metrics. Implement project management and component development standards to support continuous improvement initiatives.
