Job Description

About the Role

To provide regulatory support to the Global Wealth & Asset Management legal department with respect to registration statements, supplements, proxy and merger filings and other related activities to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and internal standards.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file open-end and closed-end fund SEC registration statements

  • Draft and file proxy statements for open-end and closed-end fund proxy solicitations

  • Review shareholder reports

  • Keep management, staff and outside counsel informed of developments related to assigned funds

  • Responsible for keeping current of regulatory/industry developments related to funds

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree

  • At least 7 years of experience in the preparation of mutual fund prospectuses, registration statements, supplements, proxy statements and other disclosure documents

Skills/Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of mutual fund regulations and compliance, including the Investment Company Act of 1940, and the Securities Act of 1933

  • Experience with EDGAR and common language databases; experience with ArcPro a plus but not required

  • Strong attention-to-detail, organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to be flexible, work under pressure and prioritize multiple projects

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to embrace and adapt to ever-changing priorities, business needs and regulatory requirements

  • Dedication to high-quality work

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision

  • Teammate and able to work collaboratively with others

  • Demonstrates high level of integrity and professionalism

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location

Boston, Massachusetts

Salary range is expected to be between

$86,325.00 USD - $155,385.00 USD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
