The Global Senior Product Manager - Rider Scrubbers will be responsible for the long-term product line strategy that delivers on organizational growth targets for ride-on and stand-on scrubbers. The Senior Product Manager will support growth by leading new product development, lifecycle management of the portfolio, implementing pricing strategies, and sales support. The Senior Product Manager will also develop a deep understanding of the market including customer applications, competitors and customer needs. They will utilize that market knowledge to identify growth opportunities and develop winning solutions. The Senior Product Manager will also need to effectively communicate with key internal stakeholders and influence other functional teams such as sales, service, engineering field operations, global supply, production and marketing among others. The Senior Product Manager will be accountable for achieving annual revenue, growth, and profit targets.
This role will report to the Global Product Portfolio Director.
Key responsibilities & elements of the role include:
Development of a deep understanding of market dynamics including competitive landscape, macro trends, supplier offerings, and customer needs for relevant products in the cleaning equipment industry.
Responsible for current & new product development (as assigned), including product strategy, business case development, forecasting, product requirements definition, cost targets, managing customer feedback process and through program trade-offs.
Develop and implement growth strategies based on market needs to increase market share & profitability of the portfolio.
Develop positioning strategy for portfolio of products, including Tennant's "right to win" with every product.
Understand competitive pricing & positioning as well as those within adjacent industries.
Develop a pricing strategy on new solutions as well as manage annual price adjustments to grow portfolio revenue.
Develop/refine Tennant's product value proposition, including the development of ROI Sales tools to demonstrate the value Tennant products bring to customers.
Respond to daily inquiries from the sales organization to support driving awareness of Tennant's products and solutions.
Keep abreast of the latest market trends and competitive intel in order to provide Sales and Customers the best product support.
Required Skills

Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in business/marketing is desired, Marketing/Business/MBA is a plus
7-10 years of professional work experience, preferably with an emphasis in product management, marketing or industrial product sales
Cross-functional leadership; experience in leading complex projects involving global stakeholders across multiple functions and regions
Knowledge of the workings in a direct and distributor sales and service organization desired, cleaning industry or mobile equipment industry is preferred
Successful track record for problem solving, idea generation and program execution
Willingness to travel - up to 20% of the time
