We are looking for a Design Engineer - Applications with a focus on customer Commercial Air Handlers to provide technical expertise including design on company products to sales representatives in the selection and application of business unit products to fulfill specific field requirements! This person will provide strategies on how to position the product to effectively compete in the marketplace and interact with customers to effectively demonstrate value of company product lines.

A Day in the Life:
Provide prompt, accurate support to sales representative inquiries regarding special applications, systems or pricing
Processes requests for modifications or options and other general information not covered by published pricing
Keeps informed on new products and competitive models in the market place
Communicates suggested modifications to the company's products/services to meet customer requirements. Communicates and provides feedback to product management for product services requirements not met by current product line
May write or provide input to assist in preparing technical literature for internal and field applications

What you will Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
3+ years' related experience
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe, and AutoCAD/3D Application experiences.
Experienced in blueprint and technical document review with ability to understand and read technical details from prints, drawings, and other documents.
Independent analysis and judgment skills, using prior experience and knowledge of Company policies and procedures to resolve non-standard problems.
Preferred Bilingual English/Spanish
Pay Transparency:
The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $81,300 - $103,300 (+ bonus if applicable job grade) in most states unless otherwise noted or $89,500 - $124,000 (+ bonus if applicable job grade) in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
