GCG Warehouse Order Central Associate - 8am-4:30pm M-F - Collegeville, PA in Collegeville, Pennsylvania

Overview

Are you looking for a fast-paced warehouse operations position where you can leverage your communications skills and multitasking abilities to support streamlined order shipment processes ? We’re seeking an Order Central Associate to join our dedicated Production Operations team! This role is vital to our operations, ensuring our documentation processes are accurate and efficient.

As our Order Central Associate , you’ll manage the retrieval of manufacturer paperwork and the creation of international shipping documents for outbound orders. You’ll communicate with internal salespeople and external vendors to maintain smooth operations while lending a hand with production activities as needed on the warehouse floor.

You’ll also work closely with our department manager to ensure that our high standards of service quality are maintained.

Pay Rate: $20/hr + full benefits

What You'll Do

  • Review printed picking tickets and document items to be picked

  • Allocate material to be picked on picking tickets and relocate material as needed

  • Review tickets flagged for potential issues and address issues identified

  • Enter Sales Order Improvement Forms

  • Log tickets on the Hot Ticket Report, Consolidation Report, and Pick-up Report

  • Retrieve manufacturer paperwork and create USMCA shipping forms

  • Locate tickets in production and accurately update the Production Request report

  • Assist with other department activities as directed by management

What you’ll bring

  • High school education or GED equivalent

  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting

  • Basic computer and typing skills and familiarity with Excel and Adobe Software

  • Ability to read a variety of communications, work tickets, packing slips, emails, memos and follow directions as written

  • A willingness to learn and work with a collaborative team

  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written directions
