GENERAL FUNCTION

This position will provide day-to-day support on benefits and retirement activities while ensuring a consistent application of EssilorLuxottica’s benefit policies and practices.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as an additional resource and back-up for the benefits team on day-to-day administration including data validation, audits, 401(k) funding and employee issues

  • Run reports from payroll and the HRIS to assist with benefit plan administration

  • Support retirement data research to determine eligibility for pension

  • Assist with retirement plan audits by pulling data and responding to auditors as needed

  • Assist with the management of the retirement and leave inbox to ensure timely response and tracking of open items

  • Work with 401(k) record-keeper to resolve Service Requests

  • Ability to learn to calculate and track the quarterly 401k match based on terms outlined in plan documents

  • Complete and administer state leave/disability requests

  • Support leave of absence data reconciliation, audits, and processing

  • Support the annual enrollment process. This will include benefit plan testing and review.

  • Supports the administration, planning, development, communication, and rollout of all benefit plans

  • Participate in benefits surveys on behalf of the company on an ad-hoc basis

  • Identify and raise system and/or process enhancements on an ongoing basis to improve efficiencies

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline

  • 1 to 3 years of Benefits, Human Resources or Finance experience

  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with financial information and reporting

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel

  • Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent customer service

  • High attention to detail

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • SAP HCM and ADP Global View experience

  • Previous experience working for a multinational company

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or retail environment

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
