Our team at Hunter Hamilton is collaborating with an outstanding IT led services company looking for an eager Accounts Receivable Collection Specialist for part-time support.
The role of the Accounts Receivable Collection Specialist is a member of the Finance team. The position will be focused on collecting payments from a single customer with over 150 franchisees. You will lead all aspects of preparing payment ledger reviews for franchises and attend multiple meetings per week with franchises and corporate sponsors.
Responsibilities:
Create invoices and credits per direction from internal project team.
Independently call and email franchises to pursue payment.
Respond promptly to questions emailed from franchises.
Accurately document collection and dispute interactions with both internal and external parties.
Understanding, investigating, and resolving AR and collection issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related finance/accounting experience is preferred.
Basic training in accounting principles
Minimum 2 to 3 years accounting experience
Prior experience or familiarity with ERP software applications
Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite tools
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
Business and financial acumen
Have extreme attention to detail and complete work with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent customer skills including the ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments
Ability to accurately track, troubleshoot and problem solve
Enthusiastic with exceptional organizational skills
Ability to maintain time-management
Shift: Ideal schedule T, W, Th for 7 hours a day. Part Time (20 hours per week).
Pay: $30 - $35 per hour
Location: in office in Chaska, MN (candidates must be local to MN)
