Head Women's Club Volleyball Coach
Athletics
Description
Gustavus Adolphus College, an NCAA Division III institution, and a member of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) is seeking applications for a part-time Women's Club Volleyball Coach.
Employment Status: Part-time (10 months), Exempt (salaried), Non-benefits Eligible.
In accordance with all Gustavus Adolphus policies and procedures, the successful applicant is responsible for organizing and administering all facets of the Women's Club Volleyball team with a commitment to fostering a positive student-athlete experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize and execute the administration of practices and competitions.
• Recruit and retain academically and athletically qualified student-athletes. Meet with prospective student-athletes on and off campus. Work closely with and within the guidelines of the Admission office.
• Coordinate and schedule competitions and team travel arrangements and all aspects involved.
• Coordinate the development and promotion of the program.
• Demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship and professionalism.
• Ability to manage and oversee a budget.
• All other duties as assigned.
Prerequisites
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Volleyball coaching experience, preferred.
