About the Job



This internship will provide research assistant support with the ENTRUST AI grant, which is a collaboration between UMN and Mayo Clinic. In this project, we propose to develop innovative informatics solutions and to apply and extend a consensus-driven risk management standard to ensure safety and trustworthiness of AI/ML for clinical decision support (CDS) in clinical practice with individualized risk management.
The research assistant will provide qualitative analysis, including governance and reporting, to further the specific aims per the project plan. The Research Assistant will also help with dissemination of findings through manuscript preparation in collaboration with the project teams.
The successful candidate will be able to work both in a team environment, as well as independently, depending on the requirements of the tasks assigned.
This position will maintain the highest integrity when handling sensitive information including HIPAA and clinical research certification.

The Center for Learning Health System Sciences (CLHSS) is a collaboration between the University of Minnesota Medical School and the School of Public Health to create value in health delivery systems by establishing an iterative cycle of leveraging existing evidence and gathering new knowledge, applying our work into direct population health action, and developing the learning health system field through education.
