NovaCare is seeking a Director of In- Home Physical Therapy in Dayton, Ohio

Our Dayton physical therapy team is looking for an experienced, licensed, compassionate and driven physical therapist as director of our In Home Therapy Department. This is a lead clinical position that will include travel to provide direct patient care in the homes, therapy centers, and doctors' offices of our patients and clients. As an In Home Physical Therapy Director, you will oversee and be responsible for the the clinical operations and quality delivery of care of all therapies while leading our team to meet the objectives consistent with our company, business and financial goals. The PT leader chosen for this position will be in charge of developing a home-based therapy program for the Dayton market in coordination with the existing sales and leadership teams already established in the market.

Schedule: Monday - Friday-- M-Th 730-6, F 8-12Flexible

Responsibilities




Travel is required to different home care settings, between centers, doctor's offices, and to patient's homes for direct patient care.
Responsible for direct patient care that promotes an exceptional patient experience. Percentage of time devoted to patient care will vary based on program/referral needs.
Assess and regularly evaluate, develop, prepare, and maintain individualized client care progress records with accuracy, timeliness, and according to policy and procedures.
Responsible for staff development and career growth, offering coaching, guidance, training, and support on employee goals and performance.
Oversee care delivery and patient outcomes to ensure care meets patient and customer needs.
Develop, maintain and assist our sales team with the ongoing relationships of our referral sources and customers, to promote community awareness of our In Home Physical Therapy Services.


Qualifications




Master's degree required, Doctoral preferred in physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech language pathology.
Current licensure in the state of practice.
Minimum of 3 years combined clinical, management and patient-relations experience including 1 year of experience with home health.
Experience with program development or management preferred.
Automobile liability insurance and current unrestricted driver's license.
CPR certification or complete training.
