Ryerson has an opportunity for a Sales Intern position. As a Sales Intern you given the opportunity to take ownership of a special project that directly impacts the business. This is your chance to apply your knowledge and creativity and make a real impact.

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Analyze data to improve existing processes and solve critical issues
* Learn about Ryerson's proud history: what we do, our culture, and our plans for the future
* Conduct market research and identify potential relationships for Ryerson using marketing, social media, online research, track & report data, and share with members of the sales / operations team
* Review inventory to understand how it works. Find & identify our biggest needs and improvements with some of our products
* Complete a location-specific project assigned by leadership
* All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Position Requirements:


* Progressive matriculation towards a bachelor's degree; May 2024 & December 2024 graduates preferred
* Prior work experience in sales, marketing, manufacturing, or engineering is a plus.
* Social media savvy & creative
* Ability to read blueprints is a plus
* Contagious energy: ability to communicate ideas and influence others
* Ability to create a professional PowerPoint presentation, as well as a working knowledge of the Microsoft suite including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
* Strong attention to detail with demonstrated analytical and organization abilities.
* Strong written and verbal communication
