Sodexo Sr. Living is looking for a General Manager 4 to join our team at Knollwood and Military Retirement CCRC located in Washington DC ! The location has 260 residents with a capacity for 300 across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Health-care. The food operation consists of 1 main dining room/bistro, 2 satellite locations, and catering operations. This role reports to the District Manager.

We are looking for candidates who will:

• have oversight of day-to-day operations

• manage the client relationship

• process P&L and possesses strong financial acumen

• leading and developing a staff of 6 salaried managers and 40 hourly employees

• handled all HR related duties

The ideal candidate will have:

• must have a culinary background;

• a work history demonstrating strong leadership and hospitality skills and the ability to work collaboratively;

• the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;

• knowledge of compliance with food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards;

• the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and

• working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and proficient in computer skills.

This position offers a predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule, but must be flexible as some evenings and weekends will be needed for catering.
