Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Solution Architect. This is a remote opportunity.

ManTech’s Digital Transformation Division (DTD) is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join our team. We are looking for a focused problem solver that has excellent communications skills, a strong customer service orientation, and is experienced leading winning solutions for growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and support in the areas of IT planning, solution specification/design, and target architecture development as well as provide guidance and support for fellow Solution Architects and technical/functional subject matter experts.

You will be laser focused on enabling your teammates through daily collaboration and outreach as well as providing proactive assistance and support when you encounter a team-mate needing support. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

· Lead solution design and the development of key artifacts including, but not limited to architectural models, process diagrams, concepts of operation, etc.

· Identify, assess, and design technical solutions that satisfy the requirements of growth opportunities

· Work with business area directors and solution architects to support development and mature our solution verticals, our solution architecture capability, and our overall value proposition

· Collaborate with Growth Team to understand customer strategic planning initiatives and intent

· Provide thought leadership and technical support to assist business areas and programs in retaining and growing both new and current work

· Respond to technical questions and research requests from growth team and programs. Perform business case analysis to support decision-making processes

· Build & maintain relationships with key vendor partners to incorporate technology & capabilities

· Actively identify, monitor, and incorporate industry & vendor solutions

· Monitor the use of the technology supporting federal client systems to ensure they are making the best use of the existing or target technical architecture

· Review proposed designs and technical solutions for suitability

· Develop technical recommendations/collateral to engage current/ prospective customers

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in a Solution Development role focused on technology solutions

  • 5+ years working in the defense contracting environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word

  • Experience, proficiency, self-assessed SME in at least two of the following disciplines:

  • -Agile & Lean principles & methodologies for application development

  • -Data analytics, data management, data architecture

  • -Cloud enablement of IT capabilities (application, data, infrastructure)

  • -BPR and system re-design (SaaS, PaaS )

  • -Data-centric solutions (Zero Trust, ICAM)

  • -Enterprise Architecture /system engineering

  • -Organizational change/workforce analysis/business process re-design

  • Ability to communicate effectively, including conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external business partners.

  • Ability to document existing and new processes

  • Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop change or alternatives

  • Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team

  • Ability to identify and/or document existing and new trend, as well as evaluate and predict their impact on the organization

  • Knowledge of Cloud enabled/cloud native solutions, AI/ML, Advanced Analytics, Robotic Process Automaton, UI/UX strategy and able to demonstrate and apply operational standards, best practices and align with organizational strategic objectives

  • Knowledge of business architecture to evaluate options and/or implement solutions to support decisions to the process

  • Bachelor’s degree in an information technology, analytics, or supply-chain related field

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The projected compensation range for this position is $111,400-$185,700. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
