Job Overview

The Lindner Center of HOPE is recruiting a full time Advanced Practice Nurse. This position is for a professional advanced practice nurse who has acquired advanced knowledge and clinical skills in the management of patients with psychiatric diagnoses. The Advanced Practice Nurse provides comprehensive care to patients including consultation, collaboration, medication management, and referral.

Lindner Center of HOPE is a nationally renowned psychiatric center of excellence located in Mason, Ohio, committed to providing transformational, state of the art diagnosis and treatment to patients of all ages at every level of care. LCOH is part of the UC Health network and affiliated with the Mayo Clinic and the National Network of Depression Centers. We have a team of top clinicians at the Lindner Center of HOPE, and we are affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Neuroscience, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. You will have the opportunity to work with other very talented psychiatrists and health care professionals in a variety of psychiatric specialties. Essential Functions


Implements advanced practice through the provision of direct care
Develops and implements plan for the management of acute and episodic problems including disease management, counseling, health promotion and maintenance, and treatment interventions consistent with practice standards
Provides periodic assessments
Evaluates patient outcomes to identify progress or to adapt treatment plan as needed
Arranges referrals to other health care team members or community resources as needed
Prescribes medication within scope of practice
Performs review of systems with emphasis on acute and episodic health issues
Maintains practices to ensure compliance with all applicable OTP and OBOT regulations
Collaborates with members of the interdisciplinary team
Serves as a resource for all other members of the interdisciplinary team related to provision of care
Works closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and other staff to provide best treatment to patients
Facilitates evidence based interdisciplinary care and assists in the development of standards of practice
Participates in the continuous improvement of the organization through the quality improvement process
Completes monitors for assigned indicators
Supports business development through community education activities

Required Education

Master's degree in nursing and graduation from an American Nurses Association (ANA) approved Nurse Practitioner Program

Required Trainings/Certifications


Valid Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Ohio
Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Psychiatric Mental Health as Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (PMHCNS-BC) or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) ideal
Valid DEA license

Required Experience

At least 2 years of experience working with patients with psychiatric diagnoses.

Additional Qualifications Considered


Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as Family Practice as Family Nurse practitioner (FNP-BC)
Ability to enthusiastically follow and model the Lindner Center of HOPE mission, vision, and values
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-specific and developmentally appropriate care for the spectrum of populations admitted to LCOH
