Country Manor Health Care Center is in search of a Life Enrichment Programmer to join the Life Enrichment Programming Team!
As a Life Enrichment Programmer, you'll:
- Become familiar with each resident and participate in creating opportunities that provide recreational and social enrichments based on their individualized needs
- Use your creativity to come up with new activities, games, socials, events and field trip ideas that your residents would enjoy!
- Lead/host activities and special events
- Spend 1:1 time with residents, building special, lasting relationships
- Plan day trips and accompany/transport residents to and from these fun excursions
- Work alongside team members of other departments to host campus events and find new ways to celebrate everyday!
- Lead and participate in pet therapy with our resident therapy dogs
- Lead and participate in intergenerational therapy programs that include frequent visits from our on-site students at Kids Country Childcare & Learning Center
This is job is as fun as it is rewarding! The right candidate will have a caring and outgoing personality, with a preferred special interest in serving the elderly. Experience with Memory loss is preferred but not required.
This is a part-time position, Mondays and Wednesdays 3:30pm-8:30pm, Fridays 3:30pm-5:30pm and one Sunday per month 8:30am-12pm.
No late nights or early mornings required!
