Aerotek Welder in Bowling Green, Ohio
Description:
MIG welding of frames, beams, conveyor tracks and various other parts
MIG wire welding on mild steel and stainless (1/16 to 1/2 inch thick) and some stainless and fabrication - 14 gauge up to 1/2"
Reading blueprints and weld symbols
Use of tape measure to measure and cut parts with a saw
Leak testing and visual inspection of welds and weld beads
Operate overhead crane and forklift
Lifting up to 50lbs as needed
Cleaning and prepping of the steel using a wire brush, sand paper and angle grinders
Using of micrometer or calipers to inspect quality
Welding in horizontal position
Skills:
MUST HAVES:
Must have at least 1-2 years of MIG welding experience.
Must be able to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols
Must be able to read a tape measure
Must be able to weld on mild steel (16th gauge)
Must have fabrication experience
