Product Marketing Specialist - Remote
Annual Salary Range: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 depending on experience.

We have an exciting opportunity at our Lake Forest, CA headquarters for a Product Marketing Specialist. This position will assist in planning and organizing product marketing activities for assigned product line(s) or subset of a product line in order to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives and development marketing plan(s), value proposition and positioning while ensuring alignment with Toshiba's strategic initiatives.
Summary:
Responsible for providing Aftermarket Supply Programs (MPS, MFP/Bar Code) support and analytics. Responsible for vendor pricing, competitive pricing and ensuring margins remain profitable. Provide support in ensuring product availability, and timely product fulfillment processes for MPS, MFP and Barcode. Work closely with Aftermarket Team Members and cross-functional teams to ensure marketing programs and initiatives are implemented and supported. Engage with dealers to help drive Aftermarket sales, including price analysis and modeling support to meet Aftermarket business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for department pricing analysis to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives. Conduct Pricing Analysis (New pricing, Changes / Special Pricing Requests).
Develop pricing models and make pricing recommendations to management as needed to ensure margins are profitable. Identify problem areas and create corrective plans to meet business objectives.
Support all Aftermarket plans/programs and activities to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within competitive arena.
Assist in the definition of buyer personas, identification of customer needs, product launches and implementation of program initiatives.
Execute marketing plans for assigned product and service line to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives.
May participate in the development of training materials as needed to ensure transfer of technical and product knowledge. Develop/educate TABS/TBS Dealers on Aftermarket supplies (remote/phone).
Manage Third Party Vendor pricing, invoices, and part numbers. Work with vendor on customer quotes to maintain profitable margins. May also get involved with negotiation of pricing where appropriate.
Work with TABS Team Members and vendors to ensure product availability, and timely product fulfillment processes. Conduct audits as required. Develop Identify operational problems and develop corrective plans to mitigate operational gaps.
Analyze Competitive Trends to determine TABS/TBS placements compared to competitors.
Conduct competitor Market Research by gathering information on competitors and/or consumers.
Make formal recommendations based on Competitor Data to improve TABS positions and support increased revenue growth. Analyze sales data, market trends, customer feedback, and performance metrics to evaluate aftermarket performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend changes as needed to management.
Participate in the development of Marketing Communication Materials for Aftermarket Supplies (Client and Dealer Facing and TABS/TBS). May convert technical position into marketing messaging and support Aftermarket launches based on established schedules.
Collaborate with Aftermarket Team Members to ensure branding increases market awareness and revenue growth.
Ensure internal systems reflect accurate pricing information for assigned product line supplies (including standard and special discounted pricing). Assess availability; adjust vendor/products if primary vendor out of stock and audit System information.
May develop operational standards and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, sales, and customer service as needed to drive Aftermarket sales.
Act as point of contact for Aftermarket product-related inquiries and provide support to internal and external stakeholders. Provide Product Fulfillment Support (Answer Inquiries & Resolve Issues / interface with TBS, Dealers, Operations, etc.
Develop and run reports and graphs as needed. Develop Executive Presentations. May develop standardized procedures for Aftermarket Supplies operations as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
BS or BA degree in Marketing or a related discipline or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of three years of experience in a combination of the following pricing, analysis, marketing program
management, product lifecycle exposure. May also have experience in market research, pricing/profitability and/or competitive analysis.
Demonstrated understanding of Marketing communications and materials.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Advanced Excel and reporting skills. Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills. Knowledge of Oracle ERP preferred.
Must have the ability to travel.
