The Boeing Company is seeking a Steam Pipe Fitter (Maintenance Plumber) to join our team in Everett, Washington.

You will be supporting building & ground maintenance and initial installations. Our team supports a 24/7 operation, based on business needs. This role allows you to obtain a variety of skillsets, the opportunity to learn from knowledgeable colleagues, and to work on critical maintenance plumbing solutions for major Boeing sites.

You will receive both on-the-job & formal training to enhance your technical skills, and backflow licensing is provided by the company.

Incentives include additional pay for obtaining trade licenses paid by the company as well as receiving shift differential pay for second and third shift. This position is also eligible for overtime hours and pay.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform routine diagnosing, testing, and repairing of all types of plumbing lines and fixtures

• Repair, construct, install, rebuild, adjust, and modify plumbing lines and fixtures

• Test air, gas, water, steam, drain lines, heating, and sprinkler systems

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options .

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in the plumbing or pipefitting trade

• Able to perform work at heights up to 125 feet about ground level with appropriate safety gear and able to pass Fall Protection training

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience working with any of the following: backflow prevention, chemical process tank lines, or high-pressure steam systems

• Experience with residential and/or industrial plumbing

• Possess a Plumber Certification (ex: fitter certification)

We are hiring for multiple positions to include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. This topic will be discussed during the interview with the hiring team.

Union:

This is an hourly position governed by the IUOE 302 Collective Bargaining agreement.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $40.00-$47.70 per hour
