REQUIREMENTS: Four positions open for nighttime welders. High School Diploma or Equivalency and One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Pass drug test upon offer of employment. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Welder is responsible for laying out, fitting and welding fabricated, cast and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, and pressure vessels. Discussing errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify production problems. Setting up equipment and welding parts with Mig and Tig. Performing related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding. Repairing products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts. Finishing parts per blueprint, de-bur sharp edges. Rolling tank sections from flat steel. Welding tank sections together. Facilitating and/or performing corrective action if problems are noted in function or appearance. (MIG) knowledge.
