SPS Commerce is looking for an Associate Trainer or a Trainer to join the growing Customer Success Training team! The team is looking for those that want to Know More to Be More and have a passion for being Obsessed with Customers!

Our Customer Success Trainers are champions of SPS Commerce’s celebrated culture, working to provide continuous learning opportunities that help our employees, and our customers grow and succeed. Through collaboration and partnership across the SPS organization, our Trainers work with leadership and subject matter experts to design, deliver, evaluate, and manage engaging training programs using a variety of delivery methods, including instructor-led trainings, videos, documentation, and more.

The Day-to-Day

This role will work alongside a team of trainers and will have a variety of focus between internal team members and external clients. The focus will be primarily on the utilization of products and solutions. Innovation, collaboration and an ability to manage concurrent projects are key to success in this role.
* Demonstrate a solid understanding of the SPS products and how they add value to a customer’s business and/or demonstrate a solid understanding of SPS internal tools and processes and how they impact learners' day-to-day responsibilities
* Develop and manage training-related projects from needs analysis to evaluation with moderate to minimal supervision
* Manage concurrent projects with firm deadlines
* Develop and deliver engaging instructor-led training to learners, in an in-person or virtual environment
* Design and develop online coursework, including writing scripts and recording audio/video training
* Work collaboratively within the Training & Education team, as well as build internal partnerships across the organization
* Consistently apply adult learning theory principles, instructional design best practices, and evaluation strategies to work
Education and Experience
For this opening we have role flexibility as the priority is the best fit for the team and will consider either an Associate Trainer or a Trainer.

Associate Trainer:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
* Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate successfully across diverse teams
* Demonstrated ability to explain complex information to less technical audiences
* Excellent customer service skills/ability and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to effectively manage multiple projects.

Trainer:
* Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years direct training experience with emphasis on instructional design and facilitation or related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate successfully across diverse teams
* Demonstrated ability to explain complex information to less technical audiences
* Excellent customer service skills/ability and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to effectively manage multiple projects

Preferred Experience
* Experience working in the retail industry
