About the role The Content Manager will join the Urology Customer Engagement & Activation (CE&A) team with the primary focus of aiding in the development and execution of integrated communication programs directed towards Health Care Providers (HCP) and consumers. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Content, this individual holds responsibility for both digital (including social media, email, and web content) and traditional (such as brochures, sell sheets, and invitations) content creation aligned with the Boston Scientific brand. Collaborating closely with internal and external partners, the Content Manager crafts communications that effectively achieve specified objectives. This role offers diverse involvement across various product lines and urologic conditions, including kidney stones, Stress Urinary Incontinence, Erectile Dysfunction, Prostate Cancer, enlarged prostate, and pelvic floor disorders. The ideal Content Manager possesses a deep passion for healthcare, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit, a collaborative approach, and professional maturity, alongside a strong inclination for continuous learning and career advancement within healthcare communications. Essential traits include strong writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, adeptness at managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Desired qualifications include prior experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consumer products companies, as well as familiarity with regulatory processes and requirements. Key Responsibilities Coordinate projects that take into consideration both the goals of an individual initiative as well as divisional/corporate objectives. Lead content development for assigned programs from concept through production. Create physician and consumer-facing assets for Urology. Deliver assets on time and on budget. Partner with members across the CE&A team including content managers, in-house creative services, channel partners and event marketing as well as cross-functional (legal, regulatory, clinical, etc.) and external agency partners. Understand and operate within Boston Scientific brand guidelines! Aid in preparations for messaging and creative testing Manages revisions and proof-reading with vendors and ensures materials are compliant with standard operating procedures related to regulatory, clinical, and legal approval. Manages content submission, review, and approval process. Tracks budget for assigned projects. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or another relevant field 2-5+ years of content development within the medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare or consumer products industries Expertise with directing agency partners Outstanding writing and editing skills Keen attention to detail, deadlines and budgets Highly organized with ability to manage multiple stakeholders, programs and shifting priorities. Desired Qualifications Experience in crafting compelling stories intended to drive engagement by physicians, consumers, or patients. Experience working within a global organization.
