About the role:

The Technical Writer II will design and develop documentation to support both end-user product releases as well as associated regulatory requirements. Create instructional training material. Assist with the management of the development and publication of technical documentation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conduct all documentation activities in compliance with quality practices and procedures.
Develop expertise in full range of technical writing scope.
Produce high-quality information systems of a moderately complex nature, according to projected schedule.
Work cross-functionally with all business units/SMEs for technical review of documentation.
Demonstrate understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
Have good understanding of the operations and uses of some Boston Scientific Cardiac Diagnostics products and the place of these products in the market.
Work comfortably with most documentation tools in use at Boston Scientific Cardiac Diagnostics.
Design, manage, and carry out small to mid-size projects.
Work independently, under general supervision.
Thoroughly unit test all documentation he/she develops.
Document requirements, tasks, and defects.
Provide input to the user interface design process.
Do appropriate education planning and follow-through to stay technically current.
Other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
Minimum of 3 years of technical writing experience or equivalent work experience
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with health care IT preferred.
Experience planning and writing clinical and regulatory documents desirable.
Understanding of and experience with single-source authoring and publishing tools.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud suite desirable.
Familiarity with company applications / products.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment.
Team player with excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivated; strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
