Your Opportunity: Precision Press is looking for a Pouching Assistant to work on new equipment we are adding to our production floor! In this role, you will be working alongside the Flexible Packaging Equipment Operators to ensure the machines stay running and are stocked with supplies throughout the job run.
Your Responsibilities:
Assist with flexible packaging equipment setup and changing out supply rolls
Count and package printed goods into boxes
Quality check finished product and determine if standards have been met
Observe machine for product errors and work with operator to correct any issues
Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates
Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment
Your Shift:
6:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Thursday or
4:00pm - 2:00am, Monday - Thursday
4x10 schedule
You Must Have:
High attention to detail and ability to count with minimal errors
Ability to read units of measurement in standard and metric in order to verify product quality
Ability to distinguish colors
Ability to effectively communicate with team members
Good reading ability
Requirements Within This Position:
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
We Would Also Prefer:
High School Diploma/GED
High degree of analytical skills
