Job Description: Nexus Engineering Group is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans that enhance our brand visibility and support business growth within the engineering industry.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance company awareness and drive business growth.
Create engaging content for various channels to attract and convert target audiences.
Execute a comprehensive marketing plan across digital and traditional channels, aligned with company objectives.
Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior and trends.
Oversee social media strategy and management, including collaborations with external agencies and internal subject matter experts.
Develop marketing materials and lead public relations efforts.
Assist HR with recruiting content and support needs.
Lead internal communication efforts, including town hall presentations, newsletter development, and internal website.
Monitor and report on marketing performance, adjusting strategies as necessary.
Manage the marketing budget to optimize return on investment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing (digital media, social media, PR, and/or internal communications); previous experience in engineering, technical, or B2B service industries such as accounting, legal, or consulting fields is highly desirable.
Proven experience in working independently, leading campaigns and initiatives, and identifying market opportunities.
A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and measurement.
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, etc.).
Experience with social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.
Familiarity with WordPress a plus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
