Aerotek Chemical Mixer in Boston Heights, Ohio
Description:
Plant Operator
2nd shift– 2pm – 12:30am Monday-Thursday (off on Fridays)
Direct Placement
Pay Rate: $20 (starting)
Typical day:
• Will meet with 2nd shift foreman to go over what they need to get completed for the day
• Will be trained in different areas of the plant on different production procedures
• Will follow work instructions on how to mix pigments for paint
• Will be wearing a respirator when performing mixing operations
• Will lift bags that are 50-60 lbs to put into blender
• Will follow batch tickets with weights and procedures
• Will be trained how to run a paint kettle and pigment reactor and grinding machine
• Will be loading bulk weigh stations
• Will utilize computer for reading SOP’s and mixing procedures
• Will perform calculations of weight for batches mixed – basic math skills
