MPC is looking for an Advanced Inventory Data Analyst! This role is part of the team responsible for the company’s material master data and reports to the Material Master Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Provide day-to-day support and strategic consultation services to stakeholders utilizing material master data and/or system functionality that relies on or is impacted by material master data.

  • Champions standardization of material master descriptions, material classification, and data governance practices.

  • Leads system wide or enterprise-wide material master data cleansing or data enrichment projects.

  • Serves as material master data best practices SME to provide guidance to Supply Chain employees and other stakeholders for material master-related troubleshooting and efficiencies.

  • Facilitate the creation and extension of material master records for business partners and stakeholders.

  • Assists with SOX control reporting and monitoring as it relates to material master data governance completion requirements.

  • Provides training and desk-side support, as required, for material master data modules used by Supply Chain employees.

  • Identifies master data consolidation opportunities and conducts analysis to select the optimal record(s) to keep. Collaborates with business partners and stakeholders on related consolidate activities to minimize impact to the business.

  • Actively seeks and identifies opportunities for value creation through enhanced workstreams, procedures, or projects.

  • Works with operational site stakeholders to understand pain points related to material master data and/or related workstreams and solutions strategies to mitigate gaps and drive best in class processes.

  • Collaborates with fellow Materials Management colleagues to:

  • Identify master data cleansing and enhancement projects that support stakeholder requirements.

  • Identify optimization opportunities related to stocking levels and disposition activities.

  • Execute initiatives that are aligned to business objectives and deliver value.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degrees in Supply Chain, Business, Data Analytics, and or Information Systems preferred.

  • 5 or more years of experience in Inventory Management, Materials Management, or other related Supply Chain discipline.

Grade 10-11. This position is part of a job family with multiple levels. The successful candidate will be placed at a level commensurate with experience and qualifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Professional Level 1 (P1)• Bachelor’s degree in related field.• Entry level experience in Inventory Management, Materials Management, or other related Supply Chain discipline.Professional Level 2 (P2)• Bachelor’s degree in related field.• 1-2 or more years’ experience in Inventory Management, Materials Management, or other related Supply Chain discipline.Professional Level 3 (P3)• Bachelor’s degree in related field.• 3 or more years’ experience in Inventory Management, Materials Management, or other related Supply Chain discipline.Professional Level 4 (P4)• Bachelor’s degree in related field.• 6 or more years’ experience in Inventory Management, Materials Management, or other related Supply Chain discipline
