- The starting pay for this position is $60,000+/year and increases with experience and education.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...
- You will be responsible for working cooperatively with Production, Maintenance, QA, Accounting and R&D staff, continuously monitoring the production process and ensuring yield improvement.
- Monitor production and processes throughout the plant.
- Maintain and monitor yield and trend data.
- Maintain yield and trend summaries by month and year.
- Observe entire production process, educating team members in maximizing yield and production efficiency.
- Work cooperatively to identify and initiate solutions.
- Work with production and equipment suppliers identifying equipment, equipment modifications and development of new equipment that will improve processing efficiency through labor reduction, increased volume and yield improvement.
- Prepare and present reports, identifying yield and production issues with action plan(s) for addressing identified issues.
- Drive metrics, root cause analysis and corrective actions for process, quality and customer complaints.
All other relevant duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM...
- Ideally you'll have a Bachelor Degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or other closely related field.
- Must have previous poultry industry experience.
- Basic knowledge of statistics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent technology, computer and analytical skills.
THE ENVIRONMENT TO EXPECT...
- You'll need to be able to walk, twist, bend and lift various weights.
- You will be working in a poultry manufacturing facility.
