The Sr. Manager, Business Development will play a critical role leading and executing Lucid’s partner and platform roadmap across the Lucid Suite of Products. This person will lead a variety of high priority strategic, technology, and GTM partnerships, identify and prioritize new integration opportunities, and contribute to a variety of cross-functional strategic initiatives for Lucid. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate team player who is a highly capable strategic and analytical thinker and excellent relationship builder with a track record of delivering results. Prior experience in Technology / Platform Partnerships, Management Consulting, Product Management, and/or Strategy/BD within a product-focused tech company is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Refine Lucid’s tech platform and ecosystem strategy, working with strategy, product, engineering, marketing, and sales to make Lucid’s visual suite more extensible

  • Build business cases for new potential opportunities end-to-end, leading analysis of important strategic choices, threats, and opportunities

  • Lead critical partner relationships, initiatives and technology integrations with companies like Zoom, Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Slack, and ServiceNow

  • Source and nurture relationships with customers and partners to ensure a thriving ecosystem of 3rd-party integrations built on Lucid’s Developer Platform

  • Help define Lucid’s GTM partnership strategy, including but not limited to channel and agile consultancy partnerships, in order to accelerate the adoption of Lucid and direct revenue growth

  • Be a critical part of helping Lucid identify the next “big bets” to achieve its targets for future growth

  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of opportunities in the fast pace of tech

  • Work directly with the Director of BD, SVP of Strategy & Operations, and other C-level executives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of combined business development, partnership, and/or strategy experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proven autonomy in a high performing work environment

  • Highly organized with strong project management experience

  • Relationship expert with strong empathy for both internal and external stakeholders

  • Develop creative solutions with partners that ‘make the pie bigger’

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SaaS companies and markets

  • Experience with a suite or platform of products

  • Experience working with and leading cross functional teams

  • MBA (or other relevant graduate education)

  • Becoming an expert on new domains of knowledge
