Cornerstone Research Group, Inc. Manufacturing Technician in Miamisburg, Ohio

Seeking a Manufacturing Technician with 5 years of manufacturing, industrial, production, or carpentry experience to fabricate parts to specified standards and level of craftmanship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualified Candidates will be able to:

  • Read and understand Bill of Materials / Standard Operating Procedures

  • Checks materials prior to fabrication to assure they meet specifications

  • Completes process paperwork and documentation as required to include inventory, safety and quality documents

  • Work consistently in a team environment

  • Assembles all tools, materials and consumables necessary to efficiently complete fabrication efforts

  • Capable of using a computer to input and maintain accurate records and data, utilize email and on-line training resources

  • Operate essential material handling equipment at the site (i.e. Forklift, pallet jack)

  • This position may require lifting objects up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques

  • Meet the requirements of safe operation and personal safety using required Personal Protective Equipment and Safe Practices

  • Perform general and detailed housekeeping

  • Good communication skills - both written and verbal

  • Work with minimal supervisory guidance and function in a team environment

  • Think critically and resolve problems

  • Attend training programs as required

  • Support pursuit of new business opportunities through proposal writing, opportunity identification and participation in meetings

  • Stay current in technology advancements and embrace growth opportunities

Requirements

  • Exclusive US citizenship is required

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required

  • High School diploma or GED is required

  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing, industrial, production, or carpentry experience is required

  • High quality and high-volume work is expected

  • Hard-working with the ability to stay focused, pay attention to detail, and perform repetitive tasks over long periods of time

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Safety conscious and able to work well with others

  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

Salary Range: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour depending on experience
