ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Responsibleforlayoutandwelding carbonsteelandstainless-steelvessels using GMAW (MIG), FCAW (flux core) and SMAW (submerged arc) processes.
• Observeallcompanypolicies,safetypoliciesandsecurityprocedures.
• FollowinstructionsgivenbytheProductionSupervisor.
• Workwithincompanyworkschedule.
• Readandinterpretconstructiondrawingsandproperlylayoutandbuildapressurevessel by welding.
• Produceweldsthatpassvisualinspection,x-rayorothernondestructivetestingthatisrequired.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• MustpassweldingtestasrequiredperASMEcode.
• Operateoverheadcrane.
• Operateaforkliftsafely.
• Usecriticalthinkingtosolveproblems.
• Workwellwithothers.
• Speak,read,andwriteEnglish,performbasicmath.
• Abilitytoliftitemsupto80lbs.
• Usehandsandfingerstohandleoroperateobjects,tools,orcontrols.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Highschooldiploma,GEDorequivalent.
• 3-5yearsofweldingexperience.
