Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated individual to drive process excellence within the
Veolia Water Technology & Solutions Operational Excellence for Global Supply Chain
organization. Working as a Global Process Leader Level 3 in the Global Process
Excellence Quality team, you are a leader in process transformation and continuous
improvement with high impact to our customers, sales team, and supply chain
partners. With a deep understanding of the wing-to-wing fulfillment process and
compliance regulations, you will lead teams in the development and implementation
of strategic process roadmaps. You will champion a seamless fulfillment experience
by defining robust control systems to ensure all processes are performing according
to plan. You will play an advanced strategic and tactical role in contemporizing
processes by determining opportunities for efficiency, prioritizing and resolving gaps,
and establishing process controls. The Global Process Leader Level 3 serves as the
point of escalation for process gaps, compliance concerns, and customer feedback.
You will be a torch-bearer of VWTS continuous improvement and be relied on to
investigate and resolve the most complex fulfillment process issues in collaboration
with the regional teams. The role will collaborate with the Continuous Improvement
and Customer Fulfillment Solutions teams to ensure processes are audit ready and
documentation change management is in control.
This role will serve as a strategic decision maker and trusted communicator to
stakeholders across multiple levels of key partner organizations. The Global Process
Leader Level 3 will be relied on as a process compliance subject matter expert and
change agent to develop process goals & objectives, set expectations, drive
compliance, and elevate the client experience. To be effective in this role, you will be
a leader in building and cultivating strong relationships, demonstrating expertise and
training others on both process compliance and project management/ change
management tools to execute programs and projects. This role will create an
effective communication plan to collaborate with customer fulfillment
representatives (CFRs), regional leaders, and with functional partners across the
entire supply chain team on process performance, best practices, and change
management.
Job Summary
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep knowledge of fulfillment processes, compliance regulations, business tools, reporting, inputs/outputs impact, establish performance expectations and be able to create
presentations to communicate current process performance
Develop presentation content and lead internal operational reviews and serve as subject matter expert presenter in cross-functional meetings, projects,
operational reviews, and audits
Develop/enhance process roadmaps for core fulfillment processes using a
Total Process Health methodology (SIPOC, Process Mapping, Roles & Responsibilities matrix, process KPIs, risk assessment, & process documentation)
Assist with implementation of tool changes and significant IT projects impacting fulfillment processes
Utilize intermediate level Lean, Six Sigma, and Change Management tools to lead teams through process mapping, root cause analysis, and data analysis trending discussions
Train/mentor others in use of Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management, and business reporting tools
Execute process roadmap & project action plans on schedule
Serve as Functional Owner in the VWTS Document Management process as an approver of new and revised CFS Documents to ISO 9001 standards
Serves as Change Management Reviewer at Document Management Council
Meetings to ensure effects and extents of process/tool changes are captured in documentation
Provide input into Continuous Improvement team mid-term plan and drive business to resource allocation, schedule maintenance, and data analysis decisions
Develop and lead project plans utilizing project management tools
Exceptional written and verbal communication in operational/executive level project business reviews and employee updates
Mastery of “knowing your audience” by tailoring communication to the appropriate level of detail
Monitor Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data to identify performance trends and develop corrective actions in collaboration with Quality Team, Regional
CFS teams, and functional partners
Ability to serve as an Excellence Academy Trainer for Skill Set/Refresher training tied to GPL owned processes
Drive User Acceptance Testing with regional teams for improvement projects/tool changes as needed
Operate with an advanced level of strategic thinking skills
Operate with an advanced level of change management skills
Both give and receive feedback in professional manner amongst peers/leaders/ and internal partners
Demonstrate flexibility with implementation of changes based on team/leader feedback
Create Quality Flash Report content and determine applicability of messages to elevate Continuous Improvement Culture
Monitor and utilize analytics to identify risks, failures, and opportunities driving continuous improvement plan
Complete required Veolia, EHS, and core training on schedule
Develop and present Safety & Diversity topics as part of meeting agendas
Develop agenda and lead a minimum of two team personal development or engagement events per year
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s Degree (preference for Business or Supply Chain)
6+ years of Quality/Continuous Improvement/Customer Service/ Project Management or Supply Chain experience
Advanced level practitioner of Change Management methodologies
Advanced level understanding of ISO 9001 standards, financial auditing, or global tax regulations
Ability to lead both major CFS programs and people management as needed
Advanced problem-solving skills; ability to make responsible decisions in complex situations with not all information readily available
Strong performance with Web Analytics tools like Tableau
Experience creating process flow charts in Lucid Charts/MS Visio/Draw.io
Ability to train/mentor others in analytics and process mapping
Demonstrated expertise with both basic and advanced Root Cause Analysis Tools (i.e., 5 Why’s, Fishbone, Apollo)
Ability to excel under pressure and mentor others with multi-tasking and prioritization of workload
Strategic relationship building and influencing of peers and internal partners
Strong executive presence during daily conversation, formal meetings, and
operational reviews with various levels of the organization
Advanced Coaching/Mentoring/Teaching/Feedback skills
Strong documentation skills with the ability to break down complex processes into understandable chunks
Energetic, strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Digital mindset: comfortable entering and retrieving data in a variety of software platforms and drive changes with every changing technology
Demonstrated expertise of SAP, SalesForce, Service Cloud, and Google Suite tools
Digital approach to time management/excellent time management skills
Thrive in a fast-paced but fun work environment
Ability to work and influence employees at other locations
Ability to translate specific business objectives, priorities, and key processes in to action plans
Strategically develop and leverage connections to build team morale and resolve issues
Flexibility to work adjusted or longer hours occasionally as needed
Some travel may be required (<15 %)
The selected candidate will work out of any VWTS office with Global Supply Chain
presence or can also be 100% remote for the well qualified candidates.
